Cold Weather Camping - UPDATED!
Looks like the troop is headed into some cold weather camping this weekend. Come to the meeting on Tuesday to find out where we are headed. We will be dividing up into cook teams as well so that food can be distributed. Make sure you have warm clothes (non-cotton preferably) and a warm sleeping bag. Should be a great time. See you Tuesday! |

What are you doing this summer? The troop hopes that one of the weeks this summer, you are going to spend at summer camp! The troop spends one week each summer at the Blue Ridge Mountains Council summer camp in Virgina. There are many exciting opportunities for each level of scouting. On December 2nd, Mr. Morris will be asking if you are interested in going to summer camp and which area you are interested in. Merit badge camp is the place to be for the younger scouts. This provides the opportunity to earn a number of required merit badges for Eagle as well as many other merit badges. For the older scouts there is Fish Camp, Mountain Man, New River Adventure, and others. Please take a look at the camps website for more information and be ready to tell Mr. Morris where you are going to be this summer. |
